Through my Eyes

I want to explain a little of what I see when I am working in the easiest possible way I can think of.

As soon as I tune in to spirit, the world that I know that normally surrounds me changes. I don't see the odd spirit here and there but instead I become surrounded by thousands of souls some lost some not. IF you have ever seen the film Ghost where Woopi Goldberg plays the part of a medium conning people, then once she realises she can hear spirit she is surrounded by many trying to make contact with her, all trying to pass their messages on for the first time, the room in the film has filled up with them. That film was the very first time that I ever saw anything near to the truth of what the spirit world looks like.

When we sit alone in room we are not alone, that room is full, wherever we are its the same whether it is in our garden shed or in a supermarket, walking alone along a road, chatting with a neighbour we are never on our own. They are not interested in us unless one among them may be related to you, then you may feel a soft stroke on your hand face or hair.If they were solid they would be standing shoulder to shoulder its only because they are not they are able to mingle in and through each other, not all show themselves in human looking form many are just a misty blur but each one no matter how they are showing themselves have an intelligence and are able to communicate with each other through a form of ESP. We all come from spirit and we all return to spirit so it is a natural thing for us to be able to hear them you don't need to be psychic, although we are in a physical body the conditions have to be right and that condition for most is during deep relaxation.

You may think you hear these voices with your ears but this is not so, you too are recieving them through ESP.which I believe everyone has, that gut feeling we get is a form. For the untrained, the voices are best heard at night when you are in bed, that moment when you are just about to drift into sleep when your mind is empty of all thoughts and your brain is just starting to settle down. Then you will hear it a conversation that sounds as if it is distant, you sit up in bed and cock your head from one side to the other to try and hear clearer, the words mingle together making it impossible to hear exactly what is being said, you cannot pinpoint exactly where the voices are coming from, one moment they sound as if they are in the room the next as if they are coming from an adjacent room or downstairs. You may well begin to think you have left a radio or television switched on, and I have known some who have even got out of bed to check. This is what I call Astral Chatter.

Astral Chatter is around us all the time day and night the only reason we do not hear it all the time is because during the day we are busy with other things, getting on with our lives plus the normal noises of life itself overrides the chatter, your mind has to be at that point of starting to close down which happens to every living creature that moment just before sleep.

Astral chatter is harmless and the majority of those that surround us are positive and harmless also just as in life the majority of people are, there is a small percentage of negatives among those spirits that surround us but these are usually troubled souls. Souls that have become earthbound for one reason or another these are the ones crying out for help. The chance of something really evil or something that has never lived on the earthplane is even rarer.

One thing to remember is that we attract to us spirits they are drawn to us by our actions and emotions and as I believe that it is true that 'like attracts like' then the best thing to do is to stay positive and happy as best we can.

Well spoken Outbounder. You have accurately and vividly described a world that I only occasionally glimpse.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such a wonderful description, Outbounder. Its wonderful to be made more 'aware' which makes learning and understanding this part of life possible. It leads me to wonder how the world would be different if we all had the gift.

I have only very recently figured out how to listen to that inner voice and base my decisions on that feeling rather than the path I was intending to take, a decision which was based upon wrong reasons/greed. I realize we are all living life to learn but some never learn and if your gift and overall understanding weren't so unbelieveable to them, they would be closer to understanding. Oprah Winfrey's new network OWN is inviting proposals for a new show. As you know, Dr. Phil, Nate Berkus and Dr. Oz are all shows which Oprah has developed in the past which deal with mental health, physical health & decorating your home surroundings. Understanding ourselves on a spiritual level and having people share their experiences like people have done for years on the Oprah Winfrey Show would enlighten the world to what a majority don't seem to understand. A better understanding, the development of new informed opinions can only lead to good. I would love to see an expert in this field who could host a show, interview people on a variety of topics within the field.

For example, the Dr. Oz show is only now teaching people about their bodies of which there is much to learn, but they're listening. It amazes me how many people don't understand the bodies energy, its Chakra and how having cranial sacral therapy to repair the natural rythmn throughout the body leads to healing. Women with chronic headache, for example, highly benefit from it .

Thank you Ginger for your kind words, I haven't seen an Oprah Winfrey show for about 10 years and didn't know about any of those you mentioned or if they have been shown over here in the UK but I will pop along to face book and have a read of the page. I am sure I will find it interesting.

I know I am months late on a reply but since I just got here, please overlook my tardiness.

I have never given much thought to how others see the spirit world and this sure opens my eyes.

I don't normally see spirits, except in photographs (even those they don't appear to show up in). However, I can get a very real sense of their presence, feel their pain, anxiety, joy, etc. (I am somewhat empathic), hear them in my thoughts and sometimes even with my ears. They can actually call out but I suppose it takes an enormous effort on their part.

A dear friend of mine (and cousin by marriage) was a "medium" in Great Britain. He is the one who made me realize some of my potential. Ian passed away several years ago but he never left me, even though we were so far apart in life (I'm in Texas). Sometimes I hear him speak to me, in my mind. It's him, even down to the accent.

I suppose Ian is now my spirit guide. In the corporeal world and in the spirit world, he still touches my heart and leads me to enlightenment. Now here at SRI and with your help, I feel I will learn even more and be able to help others, as I have been helped. Thank you.

Hello Outbounder, I just read your post and can't imagine how difficult it would be to see all the entities around you at the same time all the time. I don't think I could function.

I have seen several entities clearly and have heard voices audibly and not in my head - so I know for a FACT that you can hear voices from where ever (out loud). When directed at me, these have always been clear and I know what words they are saying.

When the dogs can hear it, freak out and run into the other room, you know it's just not you hearing it. And when your infant is consoled and you are on the other side of the door, you know it's not just you hearing it. You KNOW when someone is talking out loud - there is nothing iffy about it.

This has happened over off and on since I was 14 and all audible occurances I have had were either in the daytime OR when I was busy doing something. ALL my audible experiences transpired when I was fully aware of what was going on.

There have been good ones, bad ones and only a couple I hear but don't understand - but I know those conversations were not directed to me, I could just hear them for whatever reason. This one is where I live now but I've only heard him twice. I don't know who he's talking to but it's the same room. I am not sure who all is in this house but I feel someone in the laundry area, in the kitchen and the bedroom. I have been touched many times in the kitchen and a few times in the bedroom but never downstairs. I don't know if it's one person or multiple spirits. And I don't know who they are but they don't scare me. They're not bad.

It's kind of funny though, one time I was bent over making the bed and whoever it was put their hand on my butt. I got pissed and said "You better be Ken!" Ken was my husband. I had left him and he got into drinking and drugs then committed suicide. But I HATE anyone touching me that way. That only happened that one time.

I don't get any 'bad' feelings from them so I always say "I feel you". I don't know why I say that - it just comes out. I saw a lot of things years ago and then prayed I wouldn't anymore because it was really getting to me. I still see orbs and shadow beings and hear voices and get touched but it's nothing like it used to be because I can't (don't want to) see the bad things anymore.

Anyways, just saw your post and thought I'd shoot you a line. Good luck with your spirits and more power to you - it's not something I would want to deal with.

outbounder I am new to the sight but I am a full beliver in astral projection. When I was younger living on a beach in Southern California i practiced and study astral projection and had great experiences doing so.Due to life circumstances I fell away from it, but know that I am only dealing with my life circumstances I am starting to get back to my pratices and this web site which to me is bringing it forth to others who understand and pratice and I feel it is amazing and about time it is out here. I have had my oem experiences with it and I am dealing with a spirit in my house right now and trying to get him to pass on. I can hear him I am dealing with even though he has a negitive energy at night feel him during the day. I am alright with it but if I could get his sister here and in the right frame of mind I think he would move on. You see he did die in this house and it as though he is lock up here and needs to be released which is something I am working on, any suggestions in this matter would be greafly appreciated from anyone I just want him to be free! I am dealing with any though his spirit is very negative and I would like to change that I know I need help. Thank you for your post and I am glad this site is here.

Hello jazzart for your kind words they came at time when I needed to hear them. My beloved dog Willow passed over at Christmas and I was very down so thank you.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to reply and I am sorry about your dog what a beloved spirit he had to be to you and I am glad I was able to help with my post. As strange as it my seem Willow is one of my pet names for my wife and other things, like passwords to certain sites. As I grew up it was I always drawing willow trees with birds in art class at school as I do today, still doodling with them just in different ways as they have their own spirit too. I am dealing so much with life circumstances right now it has been difficult for me to do the things I like most, trying to connect with the right spirits such as yourself. Thank you for the link to deal with the spirit here and he knows I know he is being more respectful of our existance here, but he still needs to pass on. I am trying my best and I think I should have shortly. You also have a prosperous and healthy New Year and thank you for the blessing.
